This school received a grant in 2021 to implement initiatives aimed at addressing the digital divide and support our learners at risk of educational disadvantage as a consequence, as part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) a project under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU.
This funding was used towards the purchase of 4 Prowise Interactive Boards and 1 Prowise Move Camera. These digital technologies have been installed in the 1st Class classroom (supporting 28 pupils) and in our 3 learning support rooms (supporting over 45 pupils).
The above grant assisted us in ensuring that all classes and teachers in our school now have access to an interactive screen and as a result the teaching of literacy, numeracy, STEAM, as well as all other curricular areas are greatly enhanced.
